Which GoPro models work?
Every GoPro with GPS: Hero 5 Black through Hero 13, Max and Fusion. GPS must have been enabled in the camera settings while recording, with a sky view good enough to get a lock.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The GPMF metadata track is read directly from the file in your browser. The video itself is never transferred anywhere — extraction usually takes a few seconds.
What can I do with the GPX?
Upload the ride or run to Strava or Komoot, view it in any mapping app, or use it in overlay tools. The GPX includes coordinates, elevation, timestamps and speed.
