How does it work?
GoPro cameras (Hero 5 and newer) record a hidden GPMF metadata track containing GPS, speed and more. This tool reads that track from each clip, stitches the samples together using their real GPS timestamps, and lets you download the combined result.
Is my video uploaded?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using your device's own resources. Your footage never leaves your computer.
Which files work?
GoPro .mp4, .mov and low-res .lrv proxy files with GPS enabled. Tip: the small .lrv files extract much faster and contain the same telemetry.
